Featuring Kathy Bluff, vocals/violin, Paul Burjan, flute/whistle/sax and Pete Malone, acoustic/electric guitars. Band members have performed in classical, folk, bush, jazz and dance ensembles. These elements give Moondance a unique flexibility. Our classical repertoire is drawn from the great composers and blends flute, violin and guitar to create a beautiful ambience. Irish whistle is central to our folk sound, which ranges from celtic airs to contemporary Irish folk and Australiana and wild jigs and reels to get you dancing. Django Rheinhardt and Stephane Grappelli are a powerful influence on our jazz sound, which also features instrumentals by Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Jobim and the velvety vocals of Kathy Bluff. When you want to party, Moondance powers into soul, disco and rock to get you on the dance floor.
